Twice a year we get the chance to create a sub-identity for Janome's Sewing With Style offers. With 2018's Autumn edition also being Janome's 50th anniversary of selling Sewing Machines in the UK, we were tasked with creating a memorable celebratory edition that featured marketing materials spanning brochures and window graphics to online graphics and even a bespoke sewing machine featuring the Hounds Tooth pattern that was used throughout the sub-identity.

We took inspiration from vintage fashion for patterns in the anniversary edition of Sewing with Style 

In addition to designing an anniversary edition of the Janome logo, we created an anniversary themed abstract style to tie in the logo with the seasonal Sewing with Style designs. By using abstracted 50s on the cover we kept a cohesion between the anniversary celebrations and the seasonal offers.
