An alternative prospectus for Harper Adams

Read all about it – how we created a fun academic prospectus for Harper Adams University that grabbed headlines at the Cardiff Design Festival. From production to print, our brief was to turn something run-of-the-mill into out-of-the-ordinary.

When Harper Adams wanted to produce a prospectus with a difference, they came to us. We knew the only way to catch eyes and turn heads would be a bold design and format. So we looked to the world of newspapers.

Quirky wording, hand-drawn typography and bright illustrations made up our alternative ‘look’. We even printed on newspaper stock, an old-school approach but a new experience for us. It meant we could pair grainy paper texture and a vibrant palette to produce print that begged to be handled – and read. We were thrilled to hear this newspaper style with bite-size information was a hit with University staff and prospective students, not to mention the Best of Welsh Design Awards judges.
