Sewing with Style
A little birdie told us Janome UK needed a bright, breezy idea to tie together their autumn-winter campaign. When we came up with our bird characters, we knew we’d cracked it. Wearing bobble hats and sporting umbrellas, they appeared everywhere from advertising to in-store point of sale.
Quality, reliability and customer service that’s second to none – common threads that run through Janome UK products. We’ve got to know them well, having been Janome’s design partners since 2008. So when they came to us to launch a campaign promoting their sewing machines and overlockers, we drew on all our knowledge of the brand – but devised a fresh, distinctive idea.
The Sewing with Style campaign launches Janome’s product range each spring and summer, autumn and winter. This year, we bridged the gap between seasons with a chirpy bird theme. Instantly recognisable illustrated birds wearing ‘winter warmers’ appeared across all marketing collateral. Using seasonal colours, polka dot patterns and plenty of texture, they brightened up everything from outlets to inboxes.
