Navigating the challenges faced by previous failed retail schemes in Newport, the Friars Walk development attracted a lot of interest and expectation. Partnering with Queensberry Real Estate, we crafted a distinctive brand that unified commercial investors, public sector partners, and the local community. 

Through a strategic leasing campaign, Friars Walk was positioned as an investment hotspot teeming with opportunities, embodying the city's ambitious spirit. Our approach involved collaborating with both local independent eateries and renowned brand names, resulting in a well-balanced and appealing customer experience.

The results spoke volumes: Friars Walk garnered impressive social media attention resulting in over 350,000 shoppers in its opening weekend, surpassing ambitious targets with a total of 10.5 million visits in its first year. Clearly, the public embraced Friars Walk with both their feet and their hearts, spending an average of two hours per visit, making it a resounding success.
