We were delighted to create a brand refresh and new website for Bassaleg School, capturing the dynamic and supportive culture that the school community embodies and building upon the core ethos of 'Believing & Belonging'.

Over a 12 month consultation period we were able to work with students, staff and a team of enthusiastic stakeholders to develop a platform of opportunities that would help define the school’s voice and clearly set out what it meant to be a Bassaleg School pupil.

This inclusive approach was channelled into a series of photo shoots and new video footage focusing on the spectrum of students immersed in a variety of settings.

From Year 7's to Sixth Form students, the response to playing a major role in capturing the student experience was overwhelmingly positive with inspiring levels of excitement, ownership and pride.

'Great to work with such a passionate, professional team who have absolutely helped us capture our ethos from start to finish. we now have a website that parents, students and staff are extremely proud of… thank you!'

Victoria Lambe, Head Teacher, Bassaleg High School

For Head Student, Aimee, the ability to input into the project gave her the opportunity to connect with her peers, shaping the school's mantra for years to come.

'Being involved in the photo shoot at the very beginning was really fun and to know that I was helping being a part of the new future Bassaleg School made me feel so honoured. It was a really special moment in my school life.

When I saw the website I thought it was really cool to see me and my fellow sixth form students:  it makes Bassaleg School look and feel like the special school it is. To know the website and photos will be there for years to come makes me feel so glad that I was part of it.'

One of Wales' largest and most established secondary schools, Bassaleg School has a reputation of excelling across the breadth of academic and extra curricular fields with an impressive list of alumni including former Wales Rugby Union Captain and British & Irish Lions player, Ryan Jones, the Archbishop of Wales, John Davies, Commonwealth triathlete Anneliese Heard and actor, Phaldut Sharma.

For Head Teacher, Victoria Lambe, instilling a sense of self belief and belonging was foremost in the brief with the school investing in the well being of its pupils, encouraging everyone to flourish and succeed within a caring Bassaleg School community.
