It's fair to say that the team at Icon love Christmas! From ranking the first festive tv ads, creating client Christmas campaigns to sharing food and drink at our local pub (with a secret santa thrown in for good measure), December's definitely up there as one of our favourite month's of the year.
It's also an opportunity to support local charities and organisations that are working their hardest to improve the lives of others. This year, we're proud to be supporting Newport Live's Christmas initiative- Newport's Christmas Cwtch to raise funds for vulnerable children and families in the city.
The various teams at Newport Live work hard year round to support the community through sports and arts at lots of venues as well as outreach and they have an ambitious target of raising £6,000 to spread a little joy with treats and essential items including toiletries, selection boxes and warm clothing.
In partnership with Newport City Council's Social Services team, they're ensuring the gifts will be distributed and may even have a possible Christmas party for the young ones in the pipeline!
